The Financial Reporting Council (“FRC”) is a statutory body entrusted with the statutory responsibilities to conduct investigations into possible auditing or reporting irregularities by auditors of listed entities and to enquire into possible non-compliance with accounting requirements by listed entities. Government has proposed amending the auditor regulatory regime which is intended to turn the FRC into the independent regulator of auditors of listed entities and which will significantly increase our responsibilities thereby making this an exciting time to join us.


  • Supervise case officers in investigations, enquiries, financial statement reviews and handling of complaints
  • Assume responsibility for timely completion of enquiries, investigations, financial statement reviews and handling of complaints and to a high standard of competency
  • Undertake certain management responsibilities in the operations of FRC
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders on issues related to financial reporting and auditing and assurance requirements
  • Provide technical support to the Council and certain of its committees in respect of matters related to financial reporting and auditing
