With the commencement of the Financial Reporting Council (Amendment) Ordinance ​ on 1st October 2019, the FRC has ​become the independent listed entity auditor regulator for Hong Kong with the direct powers of inspection, investigation and discipline concerning auditors of listed entities and oversight of the performance of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in respect of their functions for registration, standards on professional ethics and auditing and assurance; and continuing professional developme​nt requirements in relation to PIE auditors. The FRC is committed to achieving its mission of upholding the quality of financial reporting of listed entities in Hong Kong.

The FRC has undertaken a number of initiatives to cultivate its existing talent pool, and attract new talent to the FRC. The FRC is an equal opportunity employer. Recruitments are based on competency and experience.

Corporate Communications Officer​

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quality corporate communications materials including press releases, website stories, annual report and speeches;
  • Update the corporate website and social media platforms on a timely manner;
  • Assist in planning and organisation of corporate events and press conferences;
  • Manage media reports and maintain the database for distribution of the corporate communications materials;
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Department of Finance and Administration;
  • Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Requirements​

  • Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English Language or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate communications or public relations;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Chinese word processing is a must;
  • Internet and social media savvy; relevant experience in website and social media administration, management and content development will be considered a merit;
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese and fluency in Putonghua;
  • Organised, detailed-minded, presentable with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Administrator – Department of Investigation and Compliance​

Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial/administrative support to the Department.
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting materials, minutes, business correspondence, presentations and management reports.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings/conferences with internal and external parties.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the case management system of the Department.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, such as handling of correspondence, filing, tabulating, and compiling records and photocopying.
  • Perform any other administrative and secretarial duties as required.

Requirements:​

  • A degree in business administration or other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications, Outlook and Chinese Word Processing.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Cantonese with Mandarin speaking an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to details and result oriented.
  • Well-organised, multi-tasking and able to meet deadlines.
  • Committed team player with good interpersonal skill.
  • Able to work independently with general guidance.

Administration Officer of Finance and Administration Department​

Responsibilities

  • Provide full spectrum of supports to human resources and office administration functions;
  • Perform human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, keeping records of staff leave and training;
  • Handle procurement, vendor management and insurance;
  • Handle daily office administration, including arranging and overseeing fitting out works, facilities and office equipment maintenance, and replenishment of office supplies;
  • Assist in automating and enhancing efficiency/effectiveness of the work processes in relation to HR and administration functions;
  • Perform ad hoc assignments.

Requirements​

  • Degree holder in business administration or equivalent;
  • At least 6 years’ experience in all rounded human resources and administration functions, of which 2 years at supervisory level;
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese;
  • Independent, attentive to details, and strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Executive Secretary​

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Chairman and CEO of the FRC, include preparing of documents, minutes and presentation slides; arranging appointments, meetings, conference and travel plans; and handling of incoming calls and correspondence
  • Liaison with internal departments to monitor projects’ progress and timeline according to the project planning
  • Able to communicate directives and information from the senior management to other executives and staff members
  • Participate in the development of secretarial policies and practices for the organisation
  • Deal with sensitive matters with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Handle ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements​

  • Degree holder, with professional secretarial training would be an advantage
  • More than 10 years of relevant working experience in the secretarial field, with at least 3 years of experience at executive level
  • Excellent command of both English and Cantonese with Mandarin speaking an advantage
  • Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Office, Power Point and Chinese processing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with general guidance
  • Presentable and well organised with strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
