Senior Human Resources Officer ​

​Senior Human Resources Officer 


Job Description 

Reporting to the Human Resources and Administration Manager, you will work with a team of Human Resources and Administration professionals to provide full spectrum of human resources function including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, performance management, training and development and employee engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for full recruitment cycle including but not limited to job description and specification review, channel selection, job posting, screening and interview arrangement;
  • Prepare new hire/exit documents and coordinate all the on-boarding and off-boarding formalities;
  • Handle day-to-day employee benefits administration and annual insurance renewal;
  • Compile and analyze HR related statistics and reports, including headcount budgeting, employee attrition rate and etc., for management purposes;
  • Assist in reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures;
  • Assist in organizing and administering training programs and workshops;
  • Assist in the annual employee programs, such as taxation, Mid-year and Annual Performance Appraisal Process, budgeting, compensation review & etc.,
  • Participate in the implementation of HRMS, and various HR initiatives and projects, such as staff wellness and/or engagement programmes;
  • Perform ad hoc assignments


Requirements
  • Degree holder in business administration or equivalent;
  • At least 6 years’ solid experience in all rounded human resources function, of which 2 years at supervisory level;
  • Well versed in HKSAR employment ordinance and other related legislation and practice;
  • Ability to multi-task and organized in a fast paced and changing environment;
  • Proficient in HRIS, MS Office Applications; 
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese;
  • Independent, attentive to details, and strong problem solving
  • A good team player with effective communication and interpersonal ​


Officer – Registration & Licensing (1 year contract)​

​Responsibilities

  • Process applications and renewals for the issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants and the recognition and registration of PIE Auditors and other practice units; 
  • Assist in maintaining the document management system and databases of the Department; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned in the Department of Oversight, Policy and Governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; 
  • At least 3 years’ business working experience;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • ​Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
  • Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, able to work independently, deadline-oriented.

Manager – Registration & Licensing (1 year contract)​

  • Qualified CPA will be an advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
  • Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, able to work independently, deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handling full set of accounts
• Bank transactions reconciliation
• Invoice and cheque preparation
• Prepare accounting schedules for month-end & year-end closing
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time & ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Higher Diploma /Associate Degree in Accounting or above / completion of ACCA Foundation or equivalent
• Self-motivated, well organized, independent, responsible, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel. Experiences in using accounting system such as MYOB are preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High level of integrity and able to meet tight deadline
• Good command of written English
• A minimum of 4 years accounting experience, applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Accounts Officer

FRC Summer Internship Programme for 2022

Duration of Internship
From 4 July 2022 to 26 August 2022 (8 weeks)

Content of the Internship
Our 8-week summer internship programme provides students with an opportunity to better understand the operation of the FRC.  Through being attached to different departments, interns will be involved in the FRC daily operations to get hands-on experience of working at the FRC so as to facilitate their future career planning.  Interns will learn from a series of well-structured training courses. They will also earn exposure through the completion of a group project during the internship period.

Requirements
• Being a permanent resident of the HKSAR;
• Hong Kong university undergraduate (year 2 or above) undergoing full-time studies for a Bachelor’s degree;
• Considering a career as a professional accountant;
• Being able to work in a team;
• Passionate, proactive and eager to learn;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
• Able to comply with the FRC Vaccine Bubble Arrangement (available details are on request).
